As part of assisting practically, we walk alongside those in our government areas to aide them in Spiritual efforts. We are not called to walk through life alone, especially during moments of crisis. Our team has worked with countless employees and lay servants over previous months, which has produced tremendous results for the community.

Peace Officers
There is an old response for Law Enforcement Officers and one I have used many times in my 30-year career when someone asks us what we are doing. "Doing the Lord's work." It's a simple response, yet it carries much weight and meaning. Yet, oftentimes, we forget that we are called by God to be here, in this county, working for the Sheriff's Office, and working through man's laws to effect the outcome God wants in other people's lives. We can easily lose sight of the Christian worldview and, like there were lead weights tied to our legs, get dragged down by the constant threat of conflict and violence in our jobs to a secular worldview where we lose sight C.A.P. Ministry allows us to remember our calling, strengthens our resolve, and helps keep our officers grounded in their faith to do what God has called us to do, His work on this world.

Public Officials
I am thankful for the monthly Bible Study provided by Greg Adams and C.A.P. ministries. The studies are inspirational to our council and refreshing to me personally. The provided meal, fellowship, and Bible study that occur prior to the council meeting, recharge me spiritually. The time of prayer is uplifting and encouraging and equips me in making wise decisions for the City of Spingtown as its mayor. I am grateful for this ministry, for those who support it, and pray that it continues for many years to come. I’m convinced that our country will be blessed as more cities open their doors to Bible studies for those in the political arena.

Public Servants
Greg Adams with C.A.P. has been a blessing to the men at our precinct barn. He started a biweekly Bible Study on Thursday mornings at 5:30am (yes, am!) for our hard-working public servants and trustees on work release. His messages are timely, practical, and helpful on how we can better represent Christ in our daily walk and talk. His ministry is relatively new to Precinct 2 but the impact is significant. I can't wait to see the fruit that God will bring out of Greg's work with Precinct 2 in Parker County.
